Imagining a Plot Twist of the Movie: Squid Game

Squid Game is one of my favorite shows because it’s so exciting and full of surprises. Every season keeps me on the edge of my seat, and I love how it shows people fighting to survive in a dangerous world. The story is about more than just winning money, it’s about hope, trust, and what people are willing to do to protect those they care about. In season 3, I have a plot twist idea that I think would make the story even more interesting and meaningful.

Squid Game is about a group of people who don’t have much money or luck in life. They get invited to play a series of children’s games, but the games are deadly. Only one person can win a big amount of money at the end, and to do that, they must survive all the games. The story shows how these players struggle, make friends, and sometimes betray each other. The games are controlled by a mysterious group, and every season reveals more about why these games happen and what’s really going on behind the scenes.

Now, here’s the first twist I imagine for season 3. After all the playing, fighting, and surviving, the winner turns out to be not one of the new players, but Gi-hun, the hero we have followed since season 1. It would be powerful to see him finally overcome all the dangers and win the prize. Gi-hun winning would show his strength, courage, and hard choices paying off. It would also give a sense of closure to his story, showing that despite everything, he came out on top and maybe could change his life and others’ lives for the better.

But here’s the plot twist in this movie that I really didn’t imagine, the winner isn’t Gi-hun or any of the other players, but a baby, the child of one of the characters like Jun-hee. In this season, Gi-hun makes a brave choice. Instead of fighting to win for himself, he gives up his chance to stay alive so he can protect the baby. This makes the story about more than money or survival it’s about hope and caring for the future. The baby winning would represent a fresh start, a symbol of new life in a world that has been so cruel and dark.

I love these twists because each one changes the story in a different way. If Gi-hun wins, it’s a story of personal victory and strength. If the baby wins, it’s a story about sacrifice, love, and hope for a better tomorrow. Both ideas make the story more emotional and meaningful. They remind us that in a world full of challenges, either fighting for yourself or protecting others can be powerful reasons to keep going.

How about you? Would you want Gi-hun to be the winner, or do you like the idea of the baby winning with Gi-hun’s sacrifice? Or maybe you have another ending in mind? I’d love to hear your ideas and what kind of ending you imagine for Squid Game season 3. Let’s share our thoughts and create new stories together!
