Describe Your Perfect Day

There’s something about being alone at home that feels like a tiny vacation. Whenever everyone leaves and the house finally goes quiet, it’s like the whole world slows down for me. I don’t have to worry about anyone calling me, asking for help, or checking what I’m doing. It’s just me, my room, and a whole day to breathe.

Most of the time, I stay in my room because that’s where I feel the most comfortable. It’s like my own little universe. I sit on my bed with my phone, scrolling through social media without thinking too much—watching random videos, laughing at memes, sometimes just staring at the screen like a zombie but somehow still enjoying it. It’s one of those small comforts I never really appreciate until I finally get a quiet day.

Eventually I get hungry, so I wander out to the kitchen and grab whatever food feels right in that moment. Sometimes it’s snacks, sometimes noodles, sometimes something sweet—basically whatever I can eat without getting stressed. Then I go back to my room and eat there, usually still scrolling or watching something comforting.

My favorite part of the day is when I start to feel sleepy. It’s that soft, peaceful kind of sleepiness that doesn’t force itself on me—it just slowly creeps in. I lie down, wrap myself in a blanket, and let myself relax. No alarms, no responsibilities. I fall asleep knowing that for once, I get to rest however long I want.

And honestly, that’s my perfect day: quiet, simple, and slow. Just me taking care of myself in the most effortless way—eating, resting, scrolling, and staying in the safest place in the house, "my room".
