If I Could Really Turn Back Time
If I could really turn back time,
I'd scold my younger self,
In the halls where dreams did climb,
At Liceo De Cagayan's domain.I’d feel the weight of hours lost,
Books untouched, the lessons I've missed,
Regretfully paying the price, what a heavy cost,
A scholarship that slipped through my fist.I’d hear the chatter, dull and bright,
Yet blinded by my careless ways,
Ignoring all that shone so light,
Now shadowed by my duller days.If I could really turn back time, I'd try,
To grasp each moment, learn, and grow,
But now I stand and wonder why...
That chance was gone, a painful blow to my guts.Yet in this past, I find a seed,
To push ahead, to rise anew,
For lessons learned from one misdeed
Can shape the path I choose to pursue,
To be the person I have to be.
