This is Home

I live in a quiet countryside town,
Where the mornings are soft
and the sun slowly comes down.
The fields are wide and filled with green,
A peaceful place, a gentle scene.

Birds wake the day with their simple song,
And the wind moves the grass
as it passes along.
The roads are dusty, the houses few,
But every smile here feels warm and true.

Children run freely under the wide sky,
Chasing each other as clouds drift by.
Farmers walk early with tools in hand,
Caring for crops, caring for land.

At noon, the heat sits heavy and slow,
But trees give shade where cool winds blow.
Neighbors talk outside their doors,
Sharing stories, sharing chores.

When evening falls, the world turns gold,
And the air feels calm, gentle, and old.
Crickets sing softly through the night,
While fireflies dance in little lights.

Life here is simple, quiet, and free.
No rush, no noise, just peace for me.
In this countryside, wherever I roam,
My heart whispers, This is home.
